TEAM CLONAGH had another amazing day at the National Simmental Show at Tullamore with our senior cow, Clonagh Darling Eyes leading the way and coming out on top as the Overall Simmental Champion for 2017 after coming through her class and female championship. It was an exceptionally special day for our Darling Eyes as ALL of her progeny were present on the day, her two natural daughters, Golden Eyes and Jazzy Eyes and her three embryos calves, two of whom also won their respective national titles that day.

Kicking off our day to a great start was our February heifer calf Clonagh Jessie Girl wininng the first class of the day. Jessie Girl is by Kilbride Farm Dragoon out of Knockane Wanda.

Following on from this in the December/January heifer calf class we were placed third and fourth with out two Kilbride Farm Dragoon daugters, Clonagh High Heels Dora and Jennalyn Honey Duff. Both are out of Banwy T-Rex daughters and former national champions Clonagh Dora the Explorer and Jennalyn Dee Duffy.
Winning the first national class of the day was our October born heifer, Clonagh Hazel Eyes claiming the National Weanling Heifer title. She is an embryo calf by Kilbride Farm Dragoon out of Clonagh Darling Eyes. Her full sister Clonagh Happy Eyes was also placed 5th in this class.

We were placed 4th in the National Yearling Heifer class with another Kilbride Farm Dragoon daighter from the “Eyes” collection, Clonagh Honey Eyes. She is out of a Banwy T-Rex daughter, Clonagh Electric Eyes.
Taking the top spots in the National Junior Heifer class were pen mates, Clonagh Gucci Eyes and Jennalyn Gina Tina. 1st place went to Clonagh Gucci Eyes, a Banwy T-Rex daughter out of Milton Senhorita with reserve going to Jennalyn Gina Tina by Kilbride Farm Dragoon out of Jennalyn Tina.

In the National Senior Heifer class we were placed 4th with our young cow, Clonagh Golden Eyes. She is by Kilbride Farm Dragoon and out of Clonagh Darling Eyes and was shown with her baby heifer calf at foot, Clonagh Jinxy Eyes by Clonagh World Class.

In the first bull class of the day our young bull, Clonagh Just A Dream was placed 4th in the February onwards bull calf class. He is by Kilbride Farm Dragoon out of Cloneygowan Temptress Posh.
We claimed champion and reserve in the the first national bull class off the day, the National Weanling Bull with our Kilbride Farm Dragoon sons Clonagh Hawk Eye and Clonagh Hanniffys taking the honours. Hawk Eye is an embryo calf out of Clonagh Darling Eyes while Hanniffy Hunk is out of another Banwy T-Rex daughter, Clonagh Emily Fabulous.

Clonagh Henry Star took 6th place in the National Yearlin Bull class which followed afterwards. He is a Kilbride Farm Dragoon son out of a former national champion Clonagh Flashy Rubystar by Clonagh Tiger Gallant.
Champion in the National Junior Bull class went to Clonagh Hard Man by Kilbride Farm Dragoon. He is out of the noted bull producer Cloneygowan Tilly Fiona.
